This culinary gem offers diners a true taste of Pampanga's renowned food heritage, bringing classic favorites and exotic dishes alike to the table with undeniable flair.

From the moment you step into Matam-ih, the inviting aroma of traditional Filipino spices and freshly cooked meals creates an immediate sense of warmth and anticipation. The menu, praised by patrons like Patty Nermal and Kristine Santos, is a curated showcase of authentic Kapampangan flavors. Standout dishes such as the vegetable okoy—a crispy, savory fritter bursting with fresh vegetables—highlight the kitchen’s dedication to both quality and tradition. Diners can expect plentiful portions of perfectly steamed rice, flavorful meats, and hearty soups that exemplify Filipino home-cooking at its finest. Each dish is thoughtfully prepared to deliver layers of taste that are simultaneously comforting and exciting to the palate.

The service at Matam-ih truly shines, with attentive and friendly staff who enhance the overall dining experience by making every guest feel genuinely welcome.

They offer a great selection of Filipino dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious and worth the price. The place is spacious, and they have private rooms you can book for big groups. However, if you're a regular diner, the standard tables are not in an air-conditioned area. The staff are also attentive and very nice.

A friend recommended Matam-ih as one of the must-try restaurants for Kapampangan cuisine, and we were very satisfied with our experience. The food was good was good, the rice, plentiful. We ordered this vegetable-okoy dish, which was particularly yummy. It's equipped with private airconditioned rooms with what looks like a tv and sound system for big parties. This was our last stop before heading back home, and it definitely left a good impression.

Matam-Ih is conveniently located inside Clark at an area that's full of cafes and restaurants. There's plenty of parking in front and at the back. This restaurant has a large Al Fresco area as well as a few smaller areas that are air conditioned. There's also an upper dining area at the rear. The food here is deliciously Kapampangan. Unfortunately not all items on the menu are always available but most are. I suggest you try the more exotic items on the menu if you really want to get in to the native cuisine. Prices are not really expensive and I feel it's great value for money.

After our visit to Clark Safari, we came here for lunch and it was the perfect choice! The kaldereta, fried frog, BBQ, sisig, pistachio cake, and mango shake were all super delicious. Highly recommend this place — we’ll definitely be back!

Huge menu with lots of variety. What we ate were good (I'm not familiar enough with authentic Kapampangan food to assess) and were of huge serving sizes. My favorite was the pesang bulig. We asked the wait staff to put the pako salad dressing on the side but they did not. Overall a good experience. Edit: -1 ⭐ in service because we're missing 1 dish from our leftover bag. :(

This was my very first official trip to the Philippines, and I honestly had no idea what Filipino cuisine was really like. I only knew that each region has its own unique flavors. Today, I had the chance to dine at Matam-ih in Clark — and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Every single dish was absolutely delicious. Even a simple stir-fried vegetable dish tasted extraordinary. On top of that, the prices were very reasonable and definitely worth it. What impressed me the most was the people. I must emphasize that every single staff member was genuinely kind, warm, and welcoming — which made me fall in love with the Filipino spirit even more. To make it even more special, Chef Dhai personally came out to greet us, chat with us, and share some laughs. It was such a heartwarming touch. I will definitely come back, and this will be the first restaurant I head to. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart.
